Delhi Sonipat Panipat RRTS Project Overview
The Delhi-Sonipat-Panipat Regional Rapid Transit System (RRTS) is a high-speed rail project that aims to provide fast and efficient transportation between Delhi, Sonipat and Panipat, two cities located in the state of Haryana, India. The RRTS is a part of the larger Regional Rapid Transit System initiative of the National Capital Region Transport Corporation (NCRTC).
The Delhi Panipat RRTS corridor is approximately 103 kilometers long and is planned to have several stations along the route, including major locations such as Sonipat, Gannaur, Samalakha to connect Panipat in Haryana. The RRTS will utilize dedicated tracks for high-speed trains, separate from the existing rail network.
