Delhi Metro Magenta Line is a part of the Delhi Metro Network and is spread across an area of 34.12 Km with 25 operational metro stations. Out of the 25 stations, 15 metro stations are underground whereas 10 metro stations are elevated between Janakpuri West and Botanical Garden. The metro boasts of the record of India’s first-ever driverless train.
This metro corridor connects Terminal-1 of the Indira Gandhi International Airport (IGI) with the rest of the city. The metro route facilitates interchanging at Janakpuri West on the Blue Line, at Hauz Khas on the Yellow Line, and at Kalkaji Mandir on the Violet Line.
